Choosing a tax partner

Compare annual tax-service costs, not just monthly retainers.

Include closing, filing and extras, then compare the same scope of work.

Start with the annual total

Check bookkeeping, annual closing, corporate and local tax, consumption tax, payroll and year-end work, in addition to monthly retainers. Distinguish starting prices from final quotes and confirm whether tax is included.

Align the scope

Compare the same year, transaction volume, revenue, headcount and tax types. Check prior-year cleanup, audit attendance, amended filings and third-party costs separately. A smaller monthly fee may cover less work.

Know who does the work

Identify the engaged tax accountant, day-to-day contact, professional response arrangements and reporting frequency. AI intake is distinct from professional tax advice.

Reading YUIUNI pricing

Annual closing and monthly retainers are separate choices. Company bands use the higher of annual turnover and annual expenditure. Compare the annual-only option with ongoing monthly support, including any additional work.
